Credit problems - what does this mean?
Many homeowners and tenants in the UK apply for a loan with credit problems. A credit problem could be one of two things. It could be refer to
financial difficulties that somone is experiencing which is the reason they want a loan. Usually this will be a loan to get out of debt or
a debt consolidation loan to consolidate existing debts into one loan. Credit problems also refers to current or past problems that people
have experienced that will affect their ability to get a loan, usually bad credit of some form or another. This may include:
- Current poor credit rating
- Previous bad credit history
- Adverse credit score by lender or finance company
- Defaults (loan default, bank default)
- CCJs (CCJ is a County Court Judgement)
- IVAs (IVA is an Individual Volountary Arrangement)
- Rent arrears, mortgage in arrears
- Declared bankrupt, discharged bankruptcy
